庭いじり
去年の７月にこの家に住んでから、少しずつ増やして来た草花たちは10月終わりに来た台風による潮風ですっかり枯れてしまい…
まだまだハイビスカスが咲き誇っていた頃のあかちちガーデンまでは蘇っていませんが、天気の良い日はケニーとルカイが一生懸命庭いじりに精を出しています
今日は沖縄もとっても寒かったけれど、太陽が出ると庭で過ごすのがとっても気持ちいい
少々寒くても、庭を見ながら朝ご飯やランチを食べたり、お茶を飲んだりする時間に幸せを感じます。
For over a year, Rukai has been helping me with our garden...We have slowly dug up the earth around our house, sometimes with much sweat and energy, sometimes with delicate care, while planting trees, shrubs and flowers one by one. Some have flourished, others still struggle, and some have perished. Each morning Rukai joins me as we check on each one. It is a simple walk around the house, but it is one of the most treasured moments of the day.
