晴天の続く沖縄
今日は午後から古宇利島まで久しぶりのドライブ。

真っ青な空に、夏特有のどでかい雲たち。
さとうきびたちもまっすぐ空に向かってたくましく伸びています。



潜るも泳ぐも、自由自在に水と戯れるルカイ
小さな魚の大群を追いかけ、気分はすっかり海人。



Joyも大好きな海の中でずっと笑っていました



いつもは家の近くの真栄田の海で遊ぶ事が多いですが、少し遠出していつもと違う海でリフレッシュするのも必要だなぁとつくづく感じました。
やっぱり沖縄は最高


Our island is small but diverse. There are big cities, towns, and small villages. We have mountains, valleys, rivers, waterfalls, and mangroves. There are coral rock beaches, sandy beaches, and cliffs that plunge into the sparkling sea. Taking a one-hour drive up north to Kouri Island and Nakijin reminds us that the island, although being developed at an alarmingly fast pace, is still amazingly beautiful, filled with pockets of the "real Okinawa." Getting back to the soul of Okinawa always reminds me of the importance of balancing development with preservation.
