春休み、ルカイの入学などでバタバタとした日々を過ごしていたので、大宜味村へのドライブはつかの間の息抜きのようでした。

沖縄と言えど、北に向かっても南に向
かってもそれぞれ違う景色や時間の流れ方があって、改めて魅力いっぱいの島だと感じます。

I love taking short trips like this one where I am reminded of this "other world" of Okinawa where time does not matter and people seem to let life take its course with each passing day. It is far removed from the busy lives of Okinawa's modern cities, yet is so real...



滝を見に行った後はカフェに立ち寄り、ハイビスカスのお茶でひとやすみ。
